My last weekend was pretty good. It was Saturday morning, sunny day. I
went to Istanbul and Cairo. It was a new experience for me, because I
have never been there before. I went to Istanbul first. Istanbul,
historically known as Constantinople and Byzantium. In Istanbul, I went
to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Bosphorus Bridge. After that, I went
to Cairo. I stayed in Alexandria. In Alexandria, I could see the luxury
of Sphinx. I got a lot of experiences there. I knew about their culture
and a little bit about their literature. On the next day, I went back to
Indonesia because the weekend was over. I really enjoyed the travelling
in both cities.
It was such an amazing weekend I have ever had but did you know that I
went there by reading a novel which was written by Faris BQ and Astrid
Tito. I didn’t go anywhere actually, but I had a great time with me
myself and my book. Yeah, I just laid on my bed, but my mind was going
around the world. Was I crazy at that time? You might think that I was
crazy, but I knew I was not.
Going to Istanbul and Cairo was not so hard through Cinta 3 Benua novel
which was written by Faris BQ and Astrid Tito. While i was reading the
novel, I felt that I was in “real” Instanbul and Mesir. For me, reading a
book could give me some new experiences, lessons, knowledge, and many
more that I could learn from books. That’s my weekend, how about yours?
